Done-for-you business acquisitions

Own a cash-flowing business in about 90 days. See what it would pay you.

Move the sliders. This runs the same debt maths our deal platform runs on every CIM: what you can buy, what it pays you, and what waiting costs.

Cash, 401(k)/IRA or home equity.

Illustrative only, not a loan offer or a promise of income. Uses SBA at 11% over 10 years and a seller note at 5% over 2 years, a typical CEO salary for the business size ($100K–$500K, kept flat), profit after that salary (EBITDA) growing steadily from year 2 to the year-10 size you choose, and the business valued at the same multiple of its year-10 profit. Growth is your plan, not a promise: many businesses grow slower, some shrink. Cash to close is your down payment plus our $10,000 closing fee; working capital, lender fees and legal costs vary by deal. Revenue assumes salary plus profit is 20% of sales.

For corporate professionals and entrepreneurs who want to buy a real business: not a job, and not a course. We find the deals, run the diligence, negotiate, line up the financing and get you to closing. You give it about 10 hours a week. Every month you wait, that business pays its cash flow to someone else.

What we do for you

Five jobs that decide whether you close, and one that grows it

Most first-time buyers lose a year on these. Each one takes time you can't compress at the end, which is why the clock starts the day you start.

1Deal flow
Your first deals within 24 hours

Brokers give their best deals to buyers they already know. Off-market owners take weeks to reply. Both have to start before you need them.

  • Your buy box: the industries that fit your experience and the life you want
  • 16 marketplaces screened daily, plus off-market outreach in your name
  • A pipeline big enough to compare deals, and to walk away from weak ones
The other way
  • On your own: refreshing BizBuySell every night and emailing listings one at a time
  • With a broker: you only see their own listings, and the best ones go to buyers they already know
  • With a course: you learn where deals are, then spend months finding them yourself
  • Starting later: off-market owners take weeks to reply, so you start from zero

2Due diligence
Know the real profit before you offer

Missing records, licences and customer concentration take weeks to surface. Find them early, not after you've signed.

  • Every CIM underwritten in-house: owner earnings vs cash left after debt
  • Customer concentration, owner dependence, staffing and working capital checked
  • QoE, legal and accounting from our network, sized to the deal
The other way
  • On your own: taking the seller's "profit" at face value
  • With a broker: the broker is paid by the seller, so nobody on the deal checks the numbers for you
  • With a course: a checklist, but no one to read the CIM with you
  • The costly one: paying for a QoE on a deal that was never going to work
Example: add-backs, read the way a lender reads them
Reported SDE$598,000 Owner's vehicle ✓+$18,000 One-time lawsuit ✓+$24,000 Spouse on payroll, no role ✕$0 Adjusted SDE$640,000

3Negotiation
The right price, and room to walk away

Learn what sellers really ask in your market and compare it with the numbers behind it. With other deals in your pipeline, you never have to overpay.

  • Valuation against comparable deals
  • The LOI drafted and negotiated for you
  • Re-negotiation when diligence moves the numbers, plus a practical seller transition plan
The other way
  • On your own: offering full asking price because you're afraid to lose the deal
  • With a broker: they negotiate for the seller, across the table from you
  • With a course: an LOI template, and you alone against a professional
  • After diligence: accepting the same price when the numbers have moved
Example: letter of intent, key terms
LETTER OF INTENT · HEADS OF TERMS
Price: $1,850,000 ($100K under asking)
Structure: 10% cash, 80% SBA 7(a), 10% seller note
Diligence: 45 days · Transition: 90 days

4Financing
Buy with about 10% down

Find the financing gaps while there's still time to close them. Equity partners need weeks to look at your plan, so line them up before the LOI.

  • SBA and commercial lenders that close acquisitions
  • Every deal tested against our 1.5× debt-coverage line first
  • Your LOI taken to our equity investor network, and we co-invest when we like the deal
The other way
  • On your own: calling one bank and taking its first answer
  • With a broker: a lender list, then you're on your own
  • With a course: a module about SBA, but no lender or investor relationships
  • Too late: finding out after the LOI that the deal can't carry its loan
Example: capital stack on a $1.85M deal
10%
SBA $1.48M
10%
Your cash $185KSeller $185K

5Close, then grow
Own it. Don't become its only employee.

Decide how involved you want to be, and check the business can support a manager, before you commit.

  • Your legal, accounting and lending team assembled and run for you
  • A structure where you're not the single point of failure
  • Post-close check-ins, and your next acquisition prepared
The other way
  • On your own: closing, then working 70 hours a week inside the business
  • With a broker: their job ends at closing, the day yours starts
  • With a course: no one to call when a key employee wants to leave in month one
  • One and done: treating your first deal as your last
Example: closing week
  • SBA loan funded
  • Purchase agreement signed
  • Seller staying 90 days for handover
  • Day-one plan for the team and top customers

6AI after you buy Optional
An AI operating system for the business you buy

Most small businesses miss calls, follow up slowly and never ask for reviews. Fixing that is growth you can add from month one, without hiring. It's how owners plan for the growth in the calculator above.

  • AI receptionist answers every call 24/7 and books it into your calendar
  • AI follow-up works every lead, and AI reactivation brings past customers back
  • AI ads, content and search: Google and Meta ads, founder videos, and showing up in ChatGPT and Google
  • AI reviews and referrals, collected after every job
  • One dashboard: calls, leads, bookings and revenue in one place
  • Set up and run by our team, live in about 7 days, on the tools the business already uses
The other way
  • On your own: six separate apps, stitched together on weekends
  • With an agency: a monthly retainer and a report, not booked jobs
  • With a course: a module on "AI" and a list of tools to try
  • Doing nothing: missed calls and slow follow-up quietly cap what the business can earn

    Questions we hear on calls

    Before your call

Should I wait until next year?

Waiting doesn't make the work shorter. Finding deals, lining up financing and doing diligence take the same weeks whenever you start, so waiting only moves your first month of cash flow further away. Use the calculator above to see what a year of waiting costs on your numbers.

What if no deal closes in 90 days?

We keep working with you for up to one full year at no extra charge. Ninety days is the typical timeline, not a promise: some sellers move slowly, and we'd rather walk away from a bad deal than close one on schedule.

You charge a lot of money. Is it worth it?

Put your own numbers in the calculator above. Our fee is paid once. The business you buy pays you a salary and profit every year after, from the day you close, so the upside has no fixed ceiling: a good business keeps paying, grows, and stays yours. The bigger risk is the deal you'd buy without diligence, or a year spent finding nothing.

Do I need experience in the industry?

It helps but isn't required. We match you to sectors where your background is an advantage, and structure the business so it doesn't depend on you alone.

How much time does it really take?

About 10 hours a week on average: less in the first weeks, more around the LOI and financing. The week-by-week breakdown above shows where the hours go.

Do you invest in the deal?

Selectively, when we like it, usually above $1–1.5M EBITDA. Once you have an LOI, we can also take your deal to our network of active equity investors.

I'm not in the US. Can you help?

Yes. We work in the US, Canada and the UK. Outside the US, SBA loans aren't available, so we use bank and seller financing instead, which usually needs a bigger down payment.

    Will we sign an agreement?

Yes. Here's the agreement we'll both sign when we start working together, so we're both protected. Read the agreement (PDF)
